Shisa Care

ShisaCare is a therapy clinic network founded in Okinawa in 2021 that serves families living in Japan, particularly those affiliated with the U.S. military, across multiple locations including Okinawa, Yokosuka, Yokota, Atsugi-Zama, Iwakuni, Misawa, and Sasebo. The clinic offers speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, ABA therapy, mental health counseling, and psychological assessments, both in-person and online. ShisaCare works with major U.S. insurance plans that provide coverage in Japan but does not accept Japanese national health insurance, as its providers are licensed in the U.S. or other international jurisdictions rather than by Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.
