Use healthtomo in your AI assistant
Connect healthtomo to Claude or ChatGPT and ask for care in your own words. Your assistant searches our directory of clinics in Japan — the languages each one speaks, its specialties, location, and whether it takes online bookings — and links you to the clinic's healthtomo page.
https://healthtomo.com/api/agent/mcpThings you can ask
- “Find an English-speaking dermatologist near Shibuya.”
- “Is there a pediatrician in Minato who speaks Korean?”
- “Which dentists near Roppongi accept Japanese health insurance?”
- “Does that clinic have any open appointments this week?”
Connect Claude
- In Claude, open Settings and go to Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector.
- Name it “healthtomo”, paste the connector address above, and add it.
- In a new chat, make sure healthtomo is switched on in the tools menu, then ask away.
Connect ChatGPT
- In ChatGPT, open Settings and go to Apps & Connectors.
- Under Advanced settings, turn on developer mode.
- Create a new connector named “healthtomo”, paste the connector address above, and choose No authentication.
- In a new chat, pick healthtomo from the tools menu, then ask away.
Menu names differ a little between plans and app versions. If you can't find the option, search your assistant's help pages for “custom connector” or “MCP”.
Booking
Your assistant can show open appointment times for clinics that take online bookings on healthtomo. To book, it will send you to the clinic's booking page on healthtomo, where you confirm the visit yourself. For other clinics, it will give you their phone number or website.
Privacy
The connector only reads public directory information — the same details anyone can see on healthtomo.com. It doesn't ask for your name, email, or health details, and it has no access to your healthtomo account. Your assistant sends us only what it needs to search (for example, “dermatologist in Shibuya”). See our Privacy Policy for details.
Important
healthtomo helps you find a clinic — it doesn't give medical advice, and neither does the connector. In an emergency in Japan, call 119 for an ambulance.
