Sato Gastroenterological Medicine Clinic

Located in Higashi-Ikebukuro, Toshima Ward, Tokyo, this gastroenterology clinic opened in 2004 as a partner institution of the Cancer Institute Hospital (Gan-Ken Ariake Hospital), focusing on early detection of gastrointestinal and other cancers. The clinic is led by Director Sato Eiichi, who performs sedation-assisted endoscopy using the Olympus EVIS X1 system to minimize patient discomfort during upper and lower GI examinations. On-site blood analysis equipment allows same-day test results, and the clinic also handles conditions such as chronic pancreatitis, hepatitis C, and emergency cases including anisakiasis. It is accessible about 6–7 minutes on foot from the east exit of JR Ikebukuro Station.
