Kawamura General Clinic

Kawamura General Clinic is a psychiatry- and psychosomatic-medicine-focused outpatient clinic located on the 7th floor of the Aoyama KK Building in Minami-Aoyama, Minato City, Tokyo, just 30 seconds from Gaien-mae Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line. Director Dr. Noritaka Kawamura, a University of Tokyo graduate and medical PhD, leads a team that also includes a part-time female psychiatrist (Dr. Tatsumi, Thursday mornings) and five certified clinical psychologists offering CBT, SST, and other therapies. The clinic is notable for its proprietary blood-based biomarker (plasma PEA) used as an adjunct diagnostic tool for depression. English-language medical consultations are available with Dr. Kawamura, while psychological counseling in English is provided by psychologist Ms. Shimada on Wednesdays.
