The Department of International Healthcare at Juntendo University Hospital is a dedicated unit established in July 2018 to serve foreign nationals living in Japan as well as overseas patients seeking advanced medical care. Located in Hongo, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, the department coordinates access to the hospital's full range of specialties — from cardiology and gastroenterology to orthopedics, psychiatry, and obstetrics — with multilingual support in Japanese, English, and Chinese. Overseas patients without Japanese public health insurance must apply through a registered medical coordinator, while residents of Japan can inquire directly. The department also offers second opinion consultations and health screening programs.
